Our final stop, Siam Reap, is the gateway to the world-famous temples; it reminds us of Las Vegas, Key West and Times Square all rolled into one! The soundtrack to this would be: Moon of Alabama, by Kurt Weill. Our tuk-tuk driver took us into town and from our vantage point on the aptly named Pub Street, we watched the trade tempt tourists with crocodile shoes, massages, and a foot soak in an aquarium filled with toe-nibbling fish. (Not surprisingly, we did not have fish for dinner.) Photos to come, as Mary Beth recovers from her sinus bug and we both recover from the 5 AM wake-up call. Tomorrow, we brave the crowds at Angkor Wat.
